Ofri Nehemya, an Israeli born drummer and composer, is known for his work in jazz and contemporary music, gaining recognition for his dynamic drumming style and his collaborations with prominent musicians of the world's jazz scene. 

 

Some of the artists Ofri has toured and recorded with include Avishai Cohen, Omer Avital, Shai Maestro, Ben Wendel, Aaron Goldberg, Gilad Hekselman and Yotam Silberstein.

Born in 1994 and growing up in a musical family, Ofri began playing the drums at a young age, which deeply rooted his love for music and rhythm. Ofri spent his childhood studying drums with his father, taking classical and jazz piano lessons and expanding his musical basics of harmony and composition.

During his studies at Thelma-Yellin high-school for arts, while studying arrangement, ear training and further musical theory, Ofri started performing with his teachers and other notable figures in the local jazz scene.

Joining the bands of Israeli saxophonist Eli Degibri at only 17 and Israeli well known bass player Avishai Cohen at age 19, Ofri has performed in some of the most prestigious and well known jazz festivals around the world at a young age.
